Both Katherine and Chris are members of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators.  They both live in New Jersey.

     Chris is an illustrator, writer, designer and professional crayon scribbler.  He is a graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design.  His work has been exhibited in galleries and libraries, and at professional conferences and museums, including the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.  He has designed book covers, stationery and characters for party goods, and also developed animations.  A communications expert for church and community activities, Chris also works with Habitat for Humanity.  

     "When I'm not at my desk creating I enjoy stepping out into the real world to explore, juggle, unicycle, and walk my dogs."

• ​         Katherine is an award-winning writer,  documentary filmmaker, and photographer.   Her work has appeared at Anthology Film Archives, the Monmouth Museum, on ABC’s 20/20 television program, local programming in Manhattan, websites, and in newspapers and galleries.   She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and was a Fellow at Hampshire College.  Active in school and community activities,  Katherine is a licensed youth soccer coach.
  
       She is also a mom for whom,  "Reading picture books is always a happy time."
